Capstone College Communities (C3) is the proud recipient of the Outstanding Corporate Citizen Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Alabama Chapter.
C3 was nominated by Glenwood, a Birmingham non-profit that is “devoted to supporting and treating children and adults impacted by autism spectrum disorder and children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders.”

C3 had the pleasure of building three cottages for Glenwood which are being used to provide housing for both adults and children. Each of the cottages’ sixteen residents has a private bedroom and bathroom along with access to the shared living area and kitchen. The cottages also each have a private porch where residents can enjoy nature and a common outdoor area with a firepit.
The project cost over $2 million and was paid for through donations of money, supplies, and labor by Capstone and its partners.
