WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick, Chamber of Commerce leadership and local residents gathered yesterday to celebrate the opening of the newest cottage community in the region, The Cottages at Warner Robins. Developed by Capstone Communities, a nationally renowned build-for-rent multifamily developer, the 251-unit development sits on approximately 28 acres along the west side of South Houston Lake Road.
According to city officials, this development is poised to provide quality housing options to keep up with the continued economic development in Warner Robins.
“We are excited to provide this high-quality housing option to those looking to move to the heart of Georgia,” said Mayor LaRhonda Patrick. “It’s important that we continue to attract high-quality housing options that not only meet the demands of our growing population but also establish a sense of community for residents.”
The Cottages at Warner Robins sits only five miles southwest of Robins Air Force Base, the area’s largest employer with approximately 24,000 civilian, contractor and military member employees. With fewer than 250 family housing units on base, The Cottages at Warner Robins offers a premium housing option for those who choose to live off base but still seek a community-like setting.
“The Cottages provides unmatched amenities throughout the property, while its central location gives residents easy access to what they need,” said Amanda Wallis, executive vice president of development for Capstone Communities. “Whether commuting to work, heading to the grocery store or enjoying the area’s attractions, our goal is to give the local and military communities an additional housing option they can call home and create lasting memories.”
Designed by Birmingham-based Nequette Architecture & Design, The Cottages will offer a mix of one, two and three-bedroom cottages including private outdoor yards and patios. Cottages will include nine-to-12-foot ceilings, wood-grain flooring, in-unit washers and dryers, a smart home technology package, 24/7 on-call maintenance and optional enclosed garage parking. Neighborhood amenities include courtyards with pavilions and grill stations, a central clubhouse with a resort-style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, dog park and valet trash.
“The Cottages at Warner Robins is meeting an urgent need in the community, bringing a high-quality housing option to accommodate the housing needs of our growing business community,” said April Bragg, President of the Robins Regional Chamber. “It’s just another great selling point to show prospective businesses that our community has the tools and resources to attract and retain top talent further cementing our position as an attractive investment opportunity.”
Preleasing at The Cottages has reached 57% in approximately 90 days. Full construction completion is expected to be finished by the end of the summer. For more information, please visit thecottagesatwarnerrobins.com.
